Unter dem Titel „Spectroscopy – Detective of Science“ findet vom 15. bis 17. Juni 2011 die erste Akademiekonferenz des Departments Life, Light & Matter (Leben, Licht & Materie/LLM) der Universität Rostock im Rahmen des Forums „Junge Wissenschaft“ der Akademie der Wissenschaften in Hamburg statt.

The conference „Spectroscopy – Detectives in Science“ (June 15^th to June 17^th, 2011) attends to current developments of spectroscopic methods in science and research to the point of humanities. Unlike common practice tandem-lectures of top-class scientist and Ph.D.-students are planned on shared topics. Poster presentations and practical workshops will be attached. This mixture of expertise and young scientists will make this conference unrivalled.
