Language proficiency/German language courses
Language requirements
Degree studies at the University of Rostock require language skills on a level that enables students to follow lectures and to accomplish all tasks related to their studies quite independently. These skills have to be proven already upon application and enrolment. Normally, such proof is provided by a DSH ("Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang ausländischer Studienbewerber"), TestDaF or an equivalent test certificate. Further information on recognised language certificates are available at the Student's Office (Studentensekretariat).
