29.02.2012 Speakers of the Graduate council elected

At the Graduate Council meeting on 22 February 2012 the doctoral student Daniel Münzner and Prof. Dr. Michael Glocker were elected as speaker and as deputy speaker of the Graduate Council for a period of one year. Daniel Münzner is PhD student at the Faculty of Philosophy. Prof. Dr. Michael Glocker is the spokesman of the structured PhD program "Molecular mechanisms of regenerative processes" at the Faculty of Medicine.
Prof. Dr. Stephan Glatzel, who is also chairman of the Ombudsman commission at the Rostock University, was elected as Ombudsman of the Graduate Academy.
Each doctoral student who is a member of the Graduate Academy has the possibility to spend the sum of 1,500, - € for qualification measures. From April 2012 a virtual account for each member is set up on the SharePoint of the Graduate Academy. The members will be able to retrieve their account balance regularly.
On 21 March 2012 will be held the first doctoral Stammtisch. On 18 April 2012 the Graduate Academy organizes the first Doctoral Students` Day, i. a. with the renowned awarded philologist Prof. Dr. Joachim Küpper from the Freie Universität Berlin.
