Various scientific disciplines merge at the Interdisciplinary Faculty and enter a close, multidisciplinary dialogue. Their intensive co-operation is based on four future-oriented topics, our university’s academic profiling on "Science and Technology of Life, Light and Matter", "Maritime Systems", "Aging Science and Humanities" and "Knowledge - Culture - Transformation". The interdisciplinary work in these complex fields will allow an elaboration of new perspectives, contents and technologies.
