Postgraduate programmes
Postgraduate programmes are long-term but not permanent university institutions that aim to promote junior scientists (doctoral students) by involving them into research activities. They complement the traditional system of individual doctoral supervision by lecturers. Doctoral students shall be enabled to prepare their doctoral thesis within a systematically arranged graduate programme and to elaborate their doctoral thesis integrated into a comprehensive research context. Thus, postgraduate programmes serve for integrating research and education in a research-oriented way.
