Special research fields
Special Research Fields (SFB) are long-term research institutions at universities that enable scientists to cooperate in an interdisciplinary research program – a cooperation that ignores the borders between disciplines, institutes, departments and faculties.
Special Research Fields enable ambitious, elaborate and long-term research projects by cooperation between and coordination of the universities forces and resources.
