Tasks

The Equal Opportunity Commissioner supports and advises the management and the central bodies of the University of Rostock regarding the implementation of their legal mandate, to support the actual implementation of gender equality of women and men and work on abolishing existing disadvantages. The equal opportunity commissioner works towards a consideration of equal opportunity aspects in university tasks, particularly education and research, regarding development planning and fund allocation. In addition, the equal opportunity commissioner advises, informs and supports female employees of the university regarding their concerns.
