Tasks of the representative body for disabled employees
The representative body for disabled employees promotes the integration of disabled persons and those with an equivalent status into their offices. It represents their interests towards their employer and consults and supports them.
It guards the fulfilment of acts, regulations, collective labour agreements, work agreements and administrative instructions in favour of disabled persons.
It files application for, mainly preventive, measures at the institutions in charge.
It receives comments and complaints of disabled persons and negotiates them, in case of justified concerns, with the employer.
It supports employees regarding applications for confirmation of handicaps and equal opportunities at the authority in charge.
It is entitled to take part in all meetings of the employee representative committees and their boards and contributes to decisions related to disabled persons or those with equivalent status.
