Student representations at the University of Rostock

AStA & StuRa
The student’s parliament (StuRa – Student Union) and the Student's union executive committee (AStA) are permanent student’s representations. The StuRa comprises of elected representatives from all faculties and meets about once a month. Every year, usually in the summer term, students who are willing to do so may run for the StuRa. Whereas the AStA comprises of students from various fields of study, each of them with an own field of work and acting as a contact person for all students.

Among others, the editorial team of the student’s magazin „heuler“ is a part of the AStA.
