Centre for Quality Assurance in Study and Further Education
The Centre for Quality Assurance in Study and Further Education at the University of Rostock is the information, communication and advisory platform regarding study course planning issues, the implementation of standards of good education and quality assurance procedures. It offers further education for universities in three off-the-job masters programs and certificate courses regarding various scientific fields.
The employees of the Centre for Quality Assurance in Study and Further Education offer support and coordination services to faculties and university management regarding quality assurance and study reform. They inform and advise mainly regarding the following topics:
- Educational projects of the Vice-Rector of Study, Education and Further education Prof. Dr. Stefan Göbel (QualityDialogue, KOSMOS, BAAL)
- Quality assurance in study and education (evaluation, accreditation, self-tests on study course selection, graduate survey)
- Redesign of study courses (study reform, installation and approval procedures, examination and study regulations, Diploma Supplement)
- Promoting doctorates, particularly the state postgraduate program „Landesgraduiertenförderung“
- Scientific further education (off-the-job master study courses, university didactics, certificate courses, company trainings)
