Evaluation
The evaluation of Study and Education is part of a recent debate on university reformation. It is not only a quality improvement measure but also a reporting tool of (autonomous) universities.
Meanwhile, evaluation has found its way into university law. The Framework Act of Higher Education (HRG) in its latest valid version demands a systematic and regular evaluation of university education in §6. §33 of the State law on Universities for Mecklenburg-Vorpommern commits universities to carry out internal and external evaluations of study and education. The universities arrange and implement this procedure autonomously.
The implementation of the evaluation at the University of Rostock is based on evaluation regulations. These evaluation regulations were decided by a majority in the Academic Senate of the University of Rostock on the 12th January 2005. They are available for download here.

In addition, CQA prepares the target agreements between department and university management and monitors their implementation.
As a completion of the evaluation procedures, the CQA interrogates graduates once a year, i.e. sends them questionnaires and monitors the related feedback. The project evaluates the collected data and publishes them in regular intervals.
