Prof. Dr. Christoph Woernle studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart and worked as research assistant there afterwards. He graduated as doctor in 1988 and completed his habilitation in 1994. From 1994 on, he has held the Chair of Technical Mechanics/Dynamics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Marine Technology at the University of Rostock. In this role, he coordinated the conversion of the faculty’s study courses to the staged study system.
