Sabine Rossbach has been the head of the NDR Broadcasting Centre, TV section, from 1998 on. After her abitur in Kassel and a voluntary service at the “Kieler Nachrichten” in Kiel, she worked there, firstly as editor in the regional newsroom. This was followed by freelance journalist work for journals, newspapers, radio and television in Hamburg. Since 1992, Sabine Rossback was salaried at the Northern German State Radio, first in the radio program NDR2, from 1998 on in the TV department of the NDR Broadcasting Centre in Schwerin.

Sabine Rossbach became a member of the Academic advisory board for Quality assurance in Study and Further education in 1999.
