Career Service of the University of Rostock – Get to the top
The Career Service of Rostock University is a competent point of contact for all issues on career start, application and development of personal skills and competences.
The Career Service:
- Provides assistance to students to start their career and enter into the workforce through individual counselling, application tips and latest information from the labor market
- Helps students and graduates to gain practical professional experience and acquire competences that are vital for their professional life (competence promotion – event program for students and graduates)
- Establishes contacts to and provides information about various employers. With the „AbsolventenBörse“ (networking platform for graduates), young academics can set up contacts to employers and submit online applications.
- Collects, classifies and offers information on subjects related to studies and jobs. The information room provides comprehensive professional literature on subjects like studies, studying abroad, job and application, company presentations and various newspapers and trade journals designed for self-information
- Publishes latest internship and job offers in Germany and abroad, which can also be accessed outside regular opening hours.
