General student’s advisory service
The general student’s advisory service provides consultancy and information for prospective students and students regarding all important study issues. This service is intended to provide guidance and present options that can be chosen and that consider the individual situation of those seeking advice.
For specialized subject-related issues about your studies, the respective faculties and institutes provide departmental student’s advisory service. Please address all formal questions, e.g. on admission procedures, to the student’s office.
During opening hours of the information room of the general student’s advisory service, students and prospective students can use online workplaces to search on all issues related to studying. In addition, the information room provides a comprehensive collection of study-related and job-related documentation and a team member of the student’s advisory service will help you, if you have questions or need a feedback.
Opening hours:
Tuesday to Thursday: 9.00 - 12.00 hrs and 14.00 - 17.00 hrs
Friday: 9:00 - 12:00 hrs
How to find us
- The so-called "Green Monster"
Directions:
- from main station, take tram no. 6 to direction „Neuer Friedhof“,
- exit at „Saarplatz“, walk in the direction of the tram,
- after 300m, on the left side of the street, you find a large green building
- the information room is on the ground floor of the building and the clearing department, the students advisory service and the career service are on the 2nd floor
