Universität Rostock - Studies - During Studies - Re-registration

If you intend to continue your studies at the University of Rostock in the following semester, you must re-register. The re-registration is deemed to be accepted after paying the applicable semester fee (for the winter semester 2013/14 – 131.00 Euro) and is due on the following dates: 

For the winter semester:   01 – 30 June, grace period until 15 July
For the summer semester: 02 January – 01 February, grace period until 15 February 

A re-registration after the grace period, i.e. after 15 February and/or 15 July, will incur an additional late fee of 10.00 Euro (i.e. totalling to 141.00 Euro) to be transferred to the bank account of the University of Rostock:

The amount of 131.00 Euro is not just an arbitrary sum but is used for the benefit of students. 45.00 Euro are transferred to the student union, 8.00 Euro are granted to the student body and 78 Euro is the semester ticket of Verkehrsverbund Warnow (regional public transport). 

Please ensure timely payment of the full semester fee (applies also to leave of absence) to receive a successful acknowledgment.  

In exceptional cases (only for important reasons), a reimbursement of the semester ticket may be exclusively granted by the Student Union. After the proper acknowledgment you will receive the study documents (leporello documents) for the upcoming term sent to the provided postal address.

If you loose your leporello documents, you must transfer an amount of 10 euro to the a.m. bank account of the university to have the documents reprinted. Please enter your matriculation number and „Lepo-Neudruck“ (reprint) in the reference field.
