Deadlines
Re-registration in due time
You are considered to be re-registered as soon as you have transferred the semester fee (from winter term 2013/14 on 131 Euros, 53 € for distant students) in due time to the University of Rostock's account. In due time means any transfers made before the deadlines stated below. Otherwise the re-registration is considered as delayed and will be charged separately (with 10 €).
Re-registration for the winter term: 01. - 30. June, period of grace until 15. July
Re-registration for the summer term: 02. January - 01. February, Period of grace until 15. February
Application deadlines:
For the hochschulSTART.de (former ZVS)-study courses (Medicine and Dentistry):
- until 31. May 2013 for students who passed their Abitur before 15. January 2013
- until 15. July 2013 for the „novices“, i.e. persons who gained their Abitur or a comparable degree after 15. January 2013 or will still obtain it
For study courses with local admission restrictions:
Winter term
Online application for freshers: from 01. June 2013 to 15. July of every year (applicable for persons who passed the Abitur recently or earlier)
Advanced semesters: from 01. June to 15. July of every year (the application is available here)
For foreign applicants: from 1. May to 15. July of every year via the University of Rostock, c/o Assist e.V., Helmholtzstr. 2-9, 10587 Berlin www.uni-assist.de
Summer term
Advanced semesters: from 01. December of the year to 15. January of the following year (the application is available here)
For foreign applicants: only possible for master study courses from 01. December of the year to the 15. January of the following year
