Accident insurance
Students (those who are properly enrolled) enjoy legal accidence insurance during their education and further education at the universities. The same applies for way from flat to university and back.
Due to this, all accidents have to be announced to student secretariat with the faculty's safety commissioners’ signature without delay. The relevant form is available here. General explanations on accident report for students are provided here.
The legal accident insurance in charge of the University of Rostock is the accident insurer Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Guest students, senior students or vacation course participants in preparatory courses are included into the legal accident insurance.
