The general student’s advisory service provides consultancy and information for prospective students and students regarding all important study issues. This service is intended to provide guidance and present options that can be chosen and that consider the individual situation of those seeking advice.

The CAREER SERVICE as the official advice and information center for students and graduates of Rostock University helps students to plan their career start. It is our aim to capacitate students to explore the numerous options after their graduation, to set career aims at an early stage and to help to implement these aims. We support students to make decisions that are tailored for their specific career and present themselves on the job market in an optimal way.

International Office
The International Office coordinates international relations of the Rostock University. It provides consultancy for German students and scientists of the university, who plan to work or study abroad and supports students and scientists who come to the University of Rostock from abroad.

IT and media centre
The IT and media centre provides many opportunities to every enrolled student ranging from an own e-mail account, to remote desktop applications, print services and qualification.
With its high-end technical facilities and a competent team, the media service provides support, renders technical media service (lecture halls, rental of technical equipment, workshop), supports media productions (photography, audio/video/DVD) and the practical media training inside and outside the academic world.
