There is an admission restriction for this study course so that an application is required. It has to be submitted online between 1. June and 15. July.
Study subject and objectives
Biomedical engineering gets more and more impact on our healthcare system. New diagnosis and therapy opportunities are enabled by technical and scientific progress. Students of the bachelor study course Biomedical Engineering get, in addition to a solid engineering basic education, a basic medical education. Based on this, special biomedical engineering procedures are taught. Graduates of the subject are able to develop, test and implement into medical practice new diagnosis and therapy systems, with particular consideration of implants, artificial organs and biomaterials.
