Enrolment Master

There is an admission restriction for foreign students. Thus, an application is required. It has to be submitted between 1. June and 15. July. The application form You will find at: application form.

Admission requirements :
First job-qualifying degree in Biomedical Engineering or related subjects with mark 3.0 minimum and a verification of certain LP. In general, for complete and detailed information on admission requirements refer to the valid examination regulations (PO)! 

Study subject and objectives

The master study course Biomedical engineering teaches specialised knowledge on engineering and medical engineering subjects. The master graduates have been enabled to work self-employed as entrepreneurs, start a scientific-academic career or become an executive staff member in the industrial sector.

The consecutive Bachelor-Master study course “Biomedical Engineering” teaches engineering methods and knowledge for medical engineering. The graduates get qualified to develop, test and implement new diagnosis or therapy systems as development engineers into medical practice with particular consideration of implants, artificial organs or biomaterials. The graduate will be able to allocate his/her work into a multidisciplinary context. He/she may choose the career option researching engineer as well as that of an entrepreneur.
Particularly important for Biomedical Technology is the interdisciplinary orientation which is prepared even during the education process.
