Enrolment Master
There is an admission restriction for foreign students. Thus, an application is required. It has to be submitted between 1. June and 15. July (or from the 1. December to the 15. January for Summer term). The application form You will find at: application form.
Admission requirements: First job-qualifying university degree in Electrical Engineering with a proof of existing LP;
The following additional admission requirements have to be considered when applying for the Master study course Electrical Engineering:
1. The proven acquisition of at least 9 credit points in the field of Theoretical Electrical Engineering and of at least 6 credit points in the field of Control Engineering; the examination board decides on the acceptance. 9 credit points maximum can be caught during the first master study course year.
2. Sufficient English language skills according to level B2 of the Common European Reference Framework or 55% of the points to achieve in the relevant valid TOEFL (Test of English as foreign language) or an at least 3 year stay in an English speaking country or equivalent. Native speakers are exempted from this obligation to provide evidence.
3. For students from abroad: Proof of sufficient German language skills (TestDaF level 3 or DSH-1) or an at least three year stay in a German-speaking country or equivalent. Native speakers are exempted from this obligation to provide evidence.

Study content and objectives
The study course provides an education to become Master of Science in the field of Electrical Engineering. The study course teaches knowledge and methods that qualify for a scientifically oriented, independent work in selected fields of Electrical Engineering.
The Master study course Electrical Engineering follows consecutively to the Bachelor study course Electrical Engineering and takes three terms. The first two terms extend the theoretical basics and enable to deepen on of the three optional focuses:
- Microelectronics and communication technology,
- System technology,
- General electrical engineering.
