Application and enrolment (all Schools)
There is an admission restriction for foreign students. Thus, an application is required. It has to be submitted between 1. June and 15. July. Further information are provided here

Study subject and objectives
During these studies, the students gain scientific competence as basis for autonomous scientific work and, thus, create the basis for teaching this subject. They learn - depending on the chosen teaching profession study course - scientific knowledge and work methods regarding German language and literature.
There is a focus on the conditions of modern communication and media culture. The study course teaches basic knowledge to understand theory and practice of teaching and learning in German lessons, develops the bases of didactic-methodical competence and allows gaining first practical teaching experiences.
