Application and enrolment (all Schools)
There is an admission restriction for foreign students. Thus, an application is required. It has to be submitted between 1. June and 15. July. Further information are provided here

Study subject and objectives
Already since 1865 the University of Rostock offers teaching and studying room for the historical research. Employ the studying ask the thesis of bygone but nevertheless current happening events. How does a democracy come into being? Why do states ally themselves? How do crisises arise; social radical changes? What is Europe? Also regional history reaches the context of the considerations and reveals new perspectives on the history of the new and old country to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: •Spare ancient history •Medieval history •History of the early modern times •European and latest history •Contemporary history •Historical methodology and European history of ideas. •History M V •Agricultural history M V •History didactics The fold didactics of the history prepares studying the teaching profession on her future occupation. The subject didactics explains e. g. the excellent way to enter a lesson or the application of media in the lesson.

- Extended secondary school: 105 ECTS + 30 ECTS Didactics
- Regional school: 90 ECTS + 30 ECTS Didactics
- Special Education: 60 ECTS
