Enrolment
There is an admission restriction for foreign students. Thus, an application is required. It has to be submitted between 1. June and 15. July. Further information are provided here
Study content and objectives
The bachelor study course introduces students into the scientific way of thinking and working with Mathematics. A basic education in many sub-disciplines of Mathematics will be provided (a. o. Algebra, Analysis, Numerical Mathematics, Stochastics).
During a practical training, mathematical tasks will be processed by means of modern computing technology. In addition, students participate in lectures related to one minor or second subject which shall introduce into the mode of thinking and working of another scientific discipline.
After standardized first two terms, a specialisation on one of the following three branches takes place:
- Mathematics (80% Math.+ 20%Minor subject)
- Techno-mathematics (60% Math.+ 40%Second subject)
- Business mathematics (60%Math.+ 40%Second subject)
Minor subjects for Mathematics: Informatics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry
Second subjects for Techno-Mathematics: Informatics, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering
Second subject for Business Mathematics: Business administration, Economics
