Enrolment Master
There is an admission restriction for foreign students. Thus, an application is required. It has to be submitted between 1. May and 15. July. The application form You will find at: application form.
Admission requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Medical Biotechnology, Molecular Medicine, Biomedical Engineering or a comparable study course, at least with mark 2.5;
- Verification of special knowledge on molecular and cell-biological laboratory technology, good proficiency of English

Study content and objectives
The bachelor/master study course „Medical Biotechnology“, taught at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Rostock, combines contents and tasks of experimental medicine with the methodology of molecular biology, cell biology and genomics. In cooperation with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Informatics and Electrical Engineering of the University of Rostock, a substantiated and wide-ranging education as „Bachelor or Master of Science (B. / M. Sc.)“ is offered here.
Graduates from both study courses shall obtain a specific qualification to work in research fields at the interfaces between clinical and basic scientific issues
