Application and enrolment (all Schools)
There is an admission restriction for foreign students. Thus, an application is required. It has to be submitted between 1. June and 15. July. Further information are provided here

Study subject content and objectives
The Institute of Philosophy offers a well-organised education for all teaching professions. The study course for future extended secondary school teachers comprises of 70 semester hours in total, the other teaching profession students study the subject at an extend of 40 semester hours.
Two basic courses „Introduction to Philosophy" and „Language, logic, argumentation“ are obligatory. Different fields of philosophy are covered, topics and, thus, lectures can be chosen quite freely.
The philosophical lectures are complemented by didactical lectures related to philosophy and lectures on “Philosophizing with children”.
