Study subject and objectives
After completing the bachelor studies, the academic degree Masters of Science Physics (MSc Physics) can be acquired after two years of studying. This study course extents the knowledge on content and methodology of the subject acquired during the bachelor studies. The education aims to qualify the students for autonomous research work on the basis of the taught methodical and system competences and acquaintance with various scientific perspectives. The students will learn to work on complex problems and to solve them by using scientific methods, even those exceeding the current limits of the state of knowledge.
The staged bachelor and master education replaces the previously offered five-year diploma study course Physics. Of course, a proper completion of already started diploma-studies Physics without any disadvantages is ensured.
