Enrolment
There is an admission restriction for foreign students. Thus, an application is required. It has to be submitted between 1. June and 15. July or if you plan to start your studies in summer term, you have to enrol between 1. December and 15. January. The application form You will find at: application form.
Study subject and objectives
The diploma study course “Protestant theology” aims to interlink theological thinking with believe, living and acting of the students.
It shall motivate students to
- consider the social reality and the different ways to reflect it;
- reflect their future profession as a pastor;
- reflect their own relationship to theology and the different forms of practised spirituality or to position themselves (in a new way?).
The following lectures are offered related to this:
- Old Testament
- New Testament
- Church history
- Systematic theology (Dogmatism, Ethic)
- Practical theology
- Religious sciences
This field is an integral part of the entire profile of the Theological Faculty of Rostock that can be summarized as "Christianity and Culture".
