Study courses categorized according to fields of study
Here, the study course offered by the University of Rostock are arranged thematically, i.e. single study courses can even be allocated to several fields of study. For study orientation it makes sense to select a certain subject first, taking own interests and skills into consideration, and to take a closer look at related single study courses afterwards. Studies that intend to combine a first and a second subject allow combining subjects from different fields of study.
Online self assessment for persons who intend to become a student
Does my chosen course of study correspond with my skills and aptitudes, interests and capabilities?
To leave no doubts on this, the University of Rostock, in cooperation with the Association of North German Universities, offers a web-based self-test for future students, a so-called self-assessment. The result of this self-assessment is an ideal basis for a personal meeting with a representative of the General Students Advisory Office or the Specialised Advisory Offices at the individual faculties and courses of study of the University of Rostock.
