Pre-study German language courses
Before you are admitted to study at the University of Rostock, you need to furnish sufficient proof of German language competence. The University of Rostock recognizes the following certificates:
- German language test for higher education admission of foreign student applicants (DSH)
- Intermediate examination II „Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung II (ZMP II)“ passed with the minimum score „good“
- TestDaF
Pre-study German language courses like beginners courses, basic and intermediate courses are not offered by the University of Rostock. Please also note that study-integrated courses offered by the University of Rostock to visiting students and other enrolled students, are not suitable for student applicants and are, therefore, not available to them.
The University of Rostock does not provide preparatory courses for foreign students in Germany.
