Universität Rostock - Studies - Paths to Studying - Application and enrolment

Due to the strong demand for some study subjects or study courses among prospective students, there are no sufficient study places available. Thus, these study subjects and courses are admission restricted and require a correct and due application. The available study places are allocated in a selection procedure. 

Some of the admission restrictions apply for entire Germany. Those require an application at the Central Office for the Allocation of Study Places (ZVS) in Dortmund. For the University of Rostock, this applies for Medicine and Dentistry. 

In addition, there are local admission restrictions which require an application addressed directly to the University of Rostock.
