Universität Rostock - Studies - Paths to Studying - Application and enrolment - Enrolment (Registration)

The immatriculation (=enrolment) at the University of Rostock is carried out in accordance with the  enrolment regulations,  dated 15. September 2004, within determined application periods. 

Those persons who wish to study in a study course without admission restrictions have a safe study place provided that they watch the related prerequisites and keep the deadlines. 

For admission restricted study courses, a prior application is required. In case of admission, the enrolment periods are announced in writing in the admission letter. 

In general, prospective students do not have to appear in person for enrolment.
