Selection procedure for the first clinical term of study
Ranking order of students changing their university for the first clinical term of study (fifth study semester) is based on their overall grade of the first segment of the medical examination. In case this grade is not available at the point of admission decision the choice is based on the preliminary results of the written test of the medical examination. Proof of the results of the written test of the medical examination has to be handed in until September 10 of the year. Please hand in an attested copy of your certificate of the first segment of the medical examination the moment it is available. Please note that the examination office will give applicants without an overall grade less priority. Applications of lateral entrants and of equal rank will be decided by lot.
Upgrading
If you receive your admission for a first term course of study and have proof of previous study credits you will not be upgraded automatically. You have to file an application and take part in the regular selection procedure for higher study semesters at the moment of application as university changing student.

- copies of all your previous academic achievements like certificates of intermediate exams etc.,
- a copy of the letter of acceptance of your previous study place,
- summary of achievements from the examination office of your previous department about potential failed examinations for not acquired study achievements.
