Changing the subject or the course of study
International students who already enrolled at the University of Rostock and would like to change to another subject or another course of study, have to find out beforehand whether the desired course of studies or the desired subject is admission restricted or admission free.
Changing to an admission-free subject or course
International students, wo are already enrolled at the University of Rostock and would like to change to an admission-free subject or course of study, have to submit the application form for changing the subject or the course at the students office.The application form can be latest submitted one week after the start of the lectures.
All certificates and references relevant to the new subject or new course of study must be submitted with the application form.
Changing to an admission restricted subject or course of study
For study courses with restricted admission, students must first apply using the application form for admission for international study applicants in time (May 1st to July 15th).

Attention!
An application for changing subjects or courses of studies is unvalid, if it is a second or further change as long as there is no proper reason for it ( § 3, Abs. 6 der Rahmenprüfungsordnung für die Lehramtsstudiengänge der Universität Rostock bzw. § 21 Abs. 3 des Landeshochschulgesetzes M-V).
