Prospective students who have already completed coursework relevant to their desired degree program may apply for entry into a higher semester of this restricted-admission program.
Application Deadlines
for the summer semester: from 1 December to 15 January of the respective year
for the winter semester: from 1 June to 15 July of the respective year
Which degree programs are subject to admission restrictions in which higher semester?
Admission restrictions for the first subject-related semester of a degree program may be lifted or newly introduced.
For example, if a degree program is subject to admission restrictions for the first subject-related semester in the current winter semester, it is generally also subject to admission restrictions in higher semesters, even if the restriction for the first semester is lifted in the following winter semester. The admission restriction typically follows the respective cohort through the corresponding semesters.
As a result, degree programs for which admission restrictions have only recently been lifted or introduced may be unrestricted in some higher semesters and restricted in others. You can find an overview of admission restrictions for higher subject-related semesters here:
