Orientation Week

The Orientation Weeks will be organised by the Rostock International House (RIH). It addresses all new international guests, full-degree students and refugees and will start on the 8th of October 2024. All newly arrived international students will receive abundant information about their study time at the University of Rostock.

On the 8th of October 2024 at 10 a.m. we’ll have a welcome address by the Rector of the University of Rostock and the Head of the Rostock International House. The welcome address will be held in south city campus (Südstadtcampus). During this event the students get all necessary information for a successfully start in the studies. Representatives of institutions of the University of Rostock such as the Senior Citizens' Academy and the Language Centre as well as student organisations such as the LEI and the AStA, will be present.
