Student’s Clubs
Since, 1974, Rostock’s nightlife cannot be imagined without it: the LT-Club. Generations of students have celebrated here, regularly from Thursday to Saturday. While Fridays are dedicated to a certain motto, things get really speedy across all musical sectors in the old NDR television broadcasting building, restored in 2003, on Thursdays and Saturdays. Every taste will find its suitable music corner here. Who wants to go out at Saturday night in Rostock goes to the LT-Club! By the way - students pay less entrance! The drink prices are student-friendly too and the large outdoor area is an invitation to relax and supplies hungry guests with tasty food from the barbecue. A tip for all students are the parties organized by the students’ bodies at the faculties from time to time!

The M.A.U. Club is a multifunctional event centre with a capacity of up to 900 people, very centrally located at the city harbor. Do you like handmade live music? If so, you are in the right place here. LIVE CONCERTS are in the focus of our program. No musical borders exist here: From alternative Rock to Blues, Electro, Hiphop and Gothic to Metal and Pop - everything can be seen and heard. And, of course, you can also dance around at DISCOs (Indie, 80ies, Gothic/EBM & Techno…)

Studentenkeller (Student’s Cellar)
Der Studentenkeller Rostock e.V. – founded in 1969 - is Rostock’s oldest students’ club. The lovely medieval vault, slightly hidden behind a large wooden door in the street Schwaansche Straße invites to a multitude of parties on different days, Wednesday with its Happy Hour until 11 p.m. being a special highlight - an absolute must for every student in Rostock! You will be awaited by student-friendly prices, unforgettable beginning-of-the-semester parties, a large inner courtyard, something tasty from the barbecue for the little hunger in between and of course, many like-minded people - in YOUR club of the city! The ST-Club is one of Rostock’s last remaining students’ clubs and still governed by students. It is located in the district Südstadt on the territory of the Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology Department. In addition to evening events on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday you can play poker or skat, watch movies, take part in video game evenings or attend various department parties. The rustic ambience also invites for celebrating lively and there will be something for everyone’s musical taste.
Bunker Rostock
There are many clubs and pubs in Rostock - but only one of them is a former air-raid shelter. There is always a party on weekends behind its nearly three meter thick walls. Indie, alternative and rock on Saturday, motto parties on Fridays (such as gay, fetish, dark, metal or EBM). From Wednesday to Saturday you are always invited to the bunker pub “Taschenmöwe” from 8 p.m. on. Cosy lounge corners, kicker, dart and games for rent ensure nice evenings. KinoKombinat is on the program every Thursday. In cooperation with the AStA of the University of Rostock, films are shown there all over the semester.
