„Transnationales Kino im Kalten Krieg. Rezeption, Repräsentation und Erinnerung“

Public Events

  • Public screening of the short film "Eine chilenische Hochzeit" (1977) and the feature film "Blonder Tango" (1986) with an introduction by Dr. Claudia Sandberg followed by a discussion with the audience.
  • Public screening of the short film "Copihuito" (1977) and the feature film "Isabel auf der Treppe" (1984), to which we invite Teresa Polle (leading actress Isabel on the Stairs) and the filmmaker and film historian Günter Jordan (director Copihuito) (both live in Berlin). There will be a discussion with them after the screening.
  • Public screening of the documentary "Peliculas Escondidas" with an introduction by Dr. Andy Räder followed by a discussion with the film's director Dr. Claudia Sandberg.
  • 2-day workshop with the topic: „Die deutsch-chilenischen Filme der DEFA als transnationales Erbe“ with Claudia Sandberg.
