Access to Master's Degree Programs
For Master's degree programs, a first professional degree (usually Bachelor's) is always required as a general admission requirement.
In addition, certain course contents (modules) with a certain minimum scope (credit points) are often required in the previous degree program or, for example, foreign language skills are required. These subject-specific admission requirements are regulated in the respective study and examination regulations.
The competent examination board of the University of Rostock decides on the successful proof of the admission requirements.
If the degree has not yet been obtained, but is obtained at the beginning of the Master's program, a list of achievements from the responsible examination office must be presented for the application or enrolment for the examination of the admission requirements, in which the applicant's current overall grade and the number of credit points achieved (transcript of records) are listed.
