The Information Security Officer is responsible for advising and raising security awareness among all members of the University of Rostock and can be contacted without following official channels.

He must be supported in his work by all members of the University of Rostock and in particular by the IT organization.

The Information Security Officer is the contact person for all questions regarding information security at the University of Rostock. He controls the information security process and reports directly to the Rector.

The information security officer coordinates measures to increase the level of information security and acts as the investigating authority in the event of security-related incidents.
