The University of Rostock is a place where diversity is lived out, a place where discrimination and exclusion have no place. What seems self-evident to many people who work and study here, still needs to be reasserted and reaffirmed time and again. And not only in everyday life, but also explicitly, publicly and as a clearly visible message. That is why we, as employees and students of the University of Rostock, have launched this campaign - and many colleagues and fellow students have participated or are still getting involved.

Starting on 15 October 2025, we will publish photos of people who show their support for the University of Rostock as a place of diversity, tolerance and solidarity with their faces and personal statements here, as well as on various social media channels of the University of Rostock and at the university's facilities. Because discrimination and exclusion have no place here.

An initiative by students and staff of the University Rostock, jointly launched by staff from the Department of German Language Teaching, the Vice-Rector for Research, Talent Development and Equal Opportunities, the Equal Opportunities Officer at the University of Rostock, the Centre of Teachers' Education (ZLB) and the Diversity Office at the University of Rostock.
