Orientation Week

At the beginning of each semester, the International Office (IO) organises a varied and interesting orientation week to welcome newly enrolled international students to the University of Rostock.

At the welcome event, you will receive all the important information you need for a successful start to your studies and have the opportunity to settle into life in Rostock. You will have the chance to meet representatives from various institutions at the University of Rostock, such as the Language Centre, University Sports, the Studierendenwerk (Student Services Organisation) and the Senior Academy. Student organisations such as the Erasmus Student Network Rostock (ESN) and the General Student Committee (AStA) will also be there to give you a first impression.

Experience interesting campus tours, look forward to an introduction to the library and accompany us on a joint visit to the local office to register in Rostock.

But that's not all:

During the orientation weeks, the ESN usually offers interesting excursions and the ‘AusLEIhservice’ (loan service) to ensure that everyone is well equipped.
