Short description of the project: 

This project examines processes of digital transformation in agricultural science and biblical exegesis from a critical post-humanist perspective. It focuses on the question of how digitalisation and automation not only alter technical processes, but also reconfigure fundamental concepts of subjectivity, identity, relationality and the relationships between humans, animals and nature.

Short description of the project:  

The Research Training Group focuses on cellular adaptation to environmental stress. The aim is to gain an in-depth understanding of the intracellular processes that ensure the development, growth and survival of organisms (plants and humans). The similarities and differences in stress adaptation across various organisms will be identified in order to harness these for applications in medicine, biotechnology and agriculture.

Im Zentrum des Projektes steht die Entwicklung innovativer Digital-Humanities-Methoden – etwa KI-gestützte Volltexterschließung, semantische Auszeichnung und Netzwerkvisualisierung. Ziel ist sowohl die wissenschaftliche Auswertung als auch die öffentlich zugängliche Präsentation des Nachlasses von Heinrich Schliemann (ca. 60.000 Dokumente).
