The Careers Service of the University of Rostock is your place to go for all queries about career entry, application and competence building. As experienced advisors and coaches for career and post-degree counselling we help you with:
- establishing a competence profile,
 - planning, entering and building your career,
 - application coaching and document check,
 - internships at home and abroad,
 - applying for scholarships,
 - life-work-planning, making decisions,
 - study and exam coaching.
 
The consulting service is free of charge for students, graduates and post-graduates within two years after their graduation.

Rostock International House
Rostock International House coordinates the student exchange activities of the University of Rostock. It handles the international relationships as well as devises and conducts projects and programs with partners abroad. Further responsibilities include consulting and assisting foreign students and prospective students, abroad course guidance for German students, and conducting of the ERASMUS+ program.

Mentoring is a proved and effective remedy of the directed promotion of young female researchers. International Recruitment Agency (ZAV)
The Virtual Welcome Center (VWC) of the ZAV is the central information point for all questions around working and living in Germany. With its range of services, the VWC under the heading "Make it in Germany" helps foreign workers - both before and after entry - to find their way around Germany quickly and to feel welcome. In addition, it supports international specialists in job search in Germany and informs employers in close collaboration with the local Employment Agencies about opportunities for international recruitment.
