Close cooperation between science and industry is an important factor in achieving sustainable progress in our society. The life sciences and engineering are particularly important for this. In order to counter the shortage of skilled workers in these fields and the associated challenges, it is necessary to form a network of innovative employers and the highly qualified employees of the future as early as possible.

The Engineering and Life Sciences Career Day on June 2nd 2026 at the University of Rostock offers companies and students an opportunity to get to know each other and exchange ideas. Participants can make contacts in an interdisciplinary environment on the Südstadt Campus and explore professional and personal perspectives in stand-up talks and workshops.

The event is primarily aimed at MNF, MSF, AUF and IEF students at all stages of their studies. Not only options for graduates will be presented, but also opportunities for working student jobs, internships and final theses.
