Funding opportunities for foreign applicants and students are very limited. Please note that German universities do not usually have scholarship funds available. The search for a suitable scholarship can take a long time, as there are different application requirements for different scholarships. It is advisable to search for a scholarship well in advance of starting your studies.

Please note that most scholarship programs require a timely application within an application period and that certain requirements must suit. These often include very good academic performance, language skills, social commitment or a specific study or research focus.
