During your Studies
Workshops
The RIH offers various different workshops every semester for ongoing education, and these are tailored for foreign and refugee students. Here you can find the current offers:
Workshop: Time Management for Writing Assignments of any size
The semester is coming to an end and now the term papers and theses are coming into focus. But how do you want to organize your time and resources, so that you can write those texts without getting too stressed out? It helps a great deal to understand the writing process, the phases that a writer goes through, and the many small tasks that belong to each one. In this workshop we will look at the entire writing process and discuss strategies and methods to approach it with motivation instead of stress. Bring with you all your upcoming writing tasks and projects, deadlines, and calendars, and we will figure out together exactly how you can organize and use your time productively. The language of the workshop (German or English) will be agreed on with the participants.

Monthly Get-Together
The Stammtisch is our monthly Get-Together for meeting new people, having fun and practicing the German language together. Nevertheless, you are also very welcome to join uin if you have only a beginner's level (A1) and may not be comfortable to speak in German the whole evening. We meet once a month on tuesday evening at 7pm in the Global Café (Parkstraße 6). Please find the exact dates below and on our flyer.
