The special feature of the Interdisciplinary Summer Academy Rostock  is its unique combination: A scientific program that offers an authentic insight into academic practice at the University of Rostock as well as current research discourses is accompanied by a cultural and cultural program.

The topic change every year and focus on a specific interdisciplinary subject. The teaching units are held in German, thus the participants also practice and deepen their German language skills.
