De-Registration
Formally, the degree program or enrolment ends with de-registration. This takes place upon application by the student after obtaining a degree or giving up the degree programm.
Before you submit an application for de-registration, please make sure you have all the certificates stored in the online portal's study service and in the University of Rostock's examination portal, as you will no longer have access to them once you have been de-registered.
Important information on the legal examination relationship when exmatriculating from a degree programme or partial degree programme:
Please report to your examination office if registered examinations are still to be completed or withdraw in due time.
Otherwise, a final withdrawal from the examination will automatically take place (RPO-Ba/Ma § 14 (4) or RPO-LA § 20 (4)).
You can also obtain proof of your previous achievements from your examination office.
Please send Documents to be submitted to:

Counselling services: Doubts about studying/reorientation in your studies
Dropping out of university is often a difficult decision for many. The question of the future plays a major role in this.
What should I do next? What alternative degree programs are available? How can I find out what suits me best? What are my options besides university, and what does disenrollment mean?
We will answer these and other questions in a confidential setting, so that your plan B is solid and well thought-out.
